Sean Jones serves as a Partner at Urban Housing Partners and as a Principal and co-founder of Responsible Residential, LLC where he is focused on the development of multifamily projects in San Diego. A native of San Diego, Sean's passion for real estate development emerged at an early age and has since become the focal point of his career. Prior to establishing Responsible Residential, LLC, he held a key role at the Port of San Diego, where he negotiated and drafted long-term ground leases for various developments, including hotels, marinas, and an entertainment venue on California state public property. Projects included The Gaylord Pacific Hotel and Convention Center and The San Diego Symphony Rady Shell. In this capacity, he oversaw projects from inception through the complex processes of CEQA and Coastal entitlement, culminating in successful completions.

As an entrepreneur, Mr. Jones transformed a modest real estate investment firm into a thriving multifamily investment and development enterprise, navigating numerous acquisitions and construction projects. He has also completed the development of custom single family homes in San Diego and Joshua Tree. His extensive private sector experience also includes roles at Douglas Wilson Companies, where he conducted underwriting for office, industrial, retail, and multifamily acquisitions, and at Lucescu Realty, where he led the market analyst team, specializing in institutional retail assets.

Combining his rich background in both public and private sectors, Mr. Jones possesses invaluable expertise in real estate acquisition, entitlement, and development. His proficiency in negotiations, financial analysis, and problem-solving underscores his dedication to continuous learning and professional growth. As a member of Lambda Alpha International and the USD Real Estate Alumni Association, he actively contributes to the real estate community.

Sean Jones holds a California Real Estate Broker License, a Master's Degree in Real Estate from the University of San Diego, and a Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate from Arizona State University. He resides in San Diego with his wife and children, where he continues to pursue his passion for development.
